For this reason, we are showcasing a number of new tools and features today that are forming a New Vision for ApnaCrowdfunding, including an enhancement to our Backer Survey feature.

An Initial Examination of Backer Surveys
One recurring concern in open discussions with our Community Advisory Council and creators was the need for improvement in our surveys. In 2025, our creative community’s changing demands won’t be adequately met by the existing survey mechanism. Because authors must construct a survey for each prize rather than setting up a single survey for all supporters, our survey tool is now tedious to use. Since it’s one of the most crucial components of your crowdfunding campaign, this shouldn’t be a hassle. In fact, it’s time for an overhaul.
Our goal is to improve the effectiveness of our surveys and make it simpler for creators to convert backer replies into useful information for their production and fulfillment choices. We are therefore thrilled to share some impending improvements to our survey tool.
One of the new features that the ApnaCrowdfunding community will soon experience is Backer Surveys, which was previously known as Rewards Surveys. It includes a number of noteworthy changes from our earlier survey versions, all of which are intended to make the backer survey process easier to understand and more efficient while also enabling creators to efficiently collect the data they need to complete rewards.

There is no need to generate separate surveys for each prize because creators may put up their survey questions only once for all supporters. This clever feature makes data collecting more efficient, saving creators time and effort and enabling a smoother transition into production.
In-depth Reporting
Creators may now create comprehensive item surveys that include all goods, including add-ons, thanks to the new tool. This would simplify the survey process for all parties by displaying pertinent questions according on backers’ pledge amounts and add-ons. Only those questions relevant to their individual pledges will be visible to backers.
KU Creation and Administration
It may be difficult for designers to keep track of item variations, or SKUs (Stock Keeping Units), particularly when they are working on intricate projects. By creating SKUs based on item variations that designers can easily manage, the new Backer Survey streamlines this process. This enhances collaboration with manufacturers and saves time and resources. Creators can guarantee more efficient manufacturing and fulfillment procedures with precise SKU counts.
Better Address Gathering
Through the Backer Survey, creators will be able to gather backer shipping addresses. Until artists choose to lock their backers’ addresses for fulfillment—which they may do for all backers with a single click—all backer addresses will be changeable.

Our vision for this year includes a number of post-campaign tooling improvements, the first of which is this updated Backer Survey. With a focus on features that creators have requested, the Backer Survey is a set of improvements to ApnaCrowdfunding’s current survey capabilities. It meets Backers’ requirement for organized, item-level data and enhances data collecting for fulfillment and production-related information.
What happens to the information I’ve gathered with the Reward Surveys system as it is now?
Backers will continue to have access to their replies, and creators will continue to have access to the data in the Backer Report if they have gathered survey responses using Reward Surveys. Your ability to access survey data that you have gathered through Reward Surveys won’t change.
For my campaign, I’ve already employed incentive surveys. Will the new supporter survey be available to me as well?
Regretfully, creators who have already utilized the reward survey for a project are not eligible to use the new backer survey. We advise you to hold off on sending your surveys until the new tool becomes online in late June if you want to use the new Backer Survey.
In July, I want to start promoting the new Heartstrings & Hardbacks Open Call. By then, will this functionality be accessible?

They can create SKUs, manage them using a production report based on SKUs, gather backer addresses, manage addresses using the backer report, and yet ask open-ended questions at the project level.
What are the advantages for backers of the Backer Survey?
Backers may use an enhanced online and mobile experience to submit their addresses and any queries they may have. Until a creator locks addresses, backers may easily amend their addresses. at a certain time frame following the campaign.
Will my backers be able to add goods to their contribution after the campaign with the new survey functionality?
